Well, since I forgot to post yesterday, I figured I'd better post today so you guys wouldn't start thinking that I have backslid or something. :)
Today was busy running around with hubby chasing down garage sales. Not a very productive day since we didn't find any goodies. So, after that we went and did some shopping now we've got all of our shopping done for the weekend.
I've been pretty busy with website work lately, so I forget sometimes about coming over here and posting. I'll probably only be posting on a regular basis for a few more weeks because it's about to get busy. First we are going to Michigan for about a week at the end of the month and I won't have any internet access up there, then we are bringing MIL down for a 3 wk visit, then my son and his family will be here for the week of Thanksgiving, and lets not forget the busy Holiday sales for my online stores. I will check in and post whenever I remember to, but I don't know how often that will be. :) It's going to be the first of the year before I know it.
We've got two of our grandkids coming over tomorrow and staying the night. It's kind of funny because when they are here, I don't work on my sites much because I don't want to work the whole time that they're here...so, if hubby's not here, I sit in the living room by myself while my grandaughter is on my computer and my grandson is playing the playstation. :) If hubby is here, he is with our grandson playing the games. I'll usually remind them that I am here at some point and we'll all play a game together. lol Grandkids are great!
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

I hope you continue to report on your "getting off Chantix" experience so the rest of us will know what to expect in the coming weeks and or months.
Congratulations on continuing with your quit.
Hey mamaflo...I just quit taking it and I'm doing fine. The queasy feeling that I was experiencing has almost completely vanished. I can now drink fluids like I use to and even coffee is tasting good again.
I have cravings, but I still had those when I was on Chantix. I'm not one of the lucky ones who had an easy quit with the help of Chantix. Chantix helped me I'm sure, but it certainly didn't make it easy.
Right before I stopped taking the Chantix, I had just ordered a refill. I'm going to keep them close at hand in case I need them. If I need to, I'll start taking them again, but only for a few weeks at a time instead of long term.
As far as getting off the Chantix, for me it was simple with no side effects. The side effects of taking it is what was bothering me. I was getting dehydrated because of the inability to drink fluids.
So far so good. :)
Keep going, Sue! I do hope you'll still check in periodically, too!
