Onward Ho

It's been I don't know how many days or weeks now since I quit smoking. I do know that it's been going on 7 months! I couldn't be happier since I never in a million years ever thought that I could do it.

It's funny...the weather here is beautiful today and as I was sitting on the patio waiting for my burgers to get done on the grill I remembered something. I remember when I use to smoke, I use to think that the patio would be a waste if I didn't smoke because I couldn't imagine wanting to sit out there without smoking. Well guess what? I do want to sit out there without smoking. :)

Oh sure, I still get some cravings. In fact sometimes at night I still get pretty strong ones. The good thing is that they only last for 10-15 seconds or so and are gone and forgotten as quickly as they arrived. I try sometimes to imagine smoking and I can't. All I can think of is yuck! I hope that I always feel this way, know what I mean? lol

Tomorrow is suppose to be even nicer weather than today. We're grilling baby back ribs tomorrow! Woo Hoo!!!!! I love spring!
