HI everyone!
It's funny how you look at things differently as time goes on. Saturday made it 10 months since I quit smoking. I passed right by this milestone without even thinking about it. I guess it's because now when I think about how long it's been, I say it's almost a year since I quit. I'm already looking at the year anniversary instead of the month to month. Awesome...
Whoops! I've got to get over to Maggies blog because I know that she's got an anniversary soon. I hope that I didn't miss it!
I've been able to cut 8 pounds of the 18 that I had accumulated since I had quit but I don't recommend it to anyone. lol I had all of my bottom teeth pulled which really cut down the amount of food that I have been able to eat. It's getting better day by day so I hope that I don't put them all back on. :)
I hope that everyone is having a wonderful summer. The weather here has been hot, but it's better than cold.

295 days since I quit smoking!
I can't believe that it has been around 3 wks since I last posted. Sorry :(
Today makes 295 days or 42 weeks plus one day since I quit smoking. I just survived having lots of out-of-town company over the weekend who most of which smoke and I never even took a drag. In fact, I never even wanted to. Wow! That is huge for me! Even though I still get urges from time to time, ususally in the evening, when the opportunity presents itself, I have no desire. It's looking better and better as each day passes.
I am enjoying my first smoke free summer as an adult. I don't have to grab cigarettes every time I go outside or run in the house to get them when I am already outside. I don't have to drive with the windows down because of smoking either which is nice. All in all, I thoroughly enjoy being a non-smoker. :)
I hope all of you are too!
